Everything you need to master PromptCurator
A prompt is a reusable piece of text, like a template, that can contain variables. For example, you could have an email template prompt:
Hi {{client_name}}, just following up on our meeting about {{project_name}}.
{{this}}.
Once you've created a prompt with variables, you can fill it out:
Variables are dynamic placeholders in your prompts.
{{variable_name}}.{{client_name}} multiple times, you only need to fill it in once.Provide the main structure for your library.

This is your personal, editable library. All prompts you create are stored here, locally and securely on your Mac.
This is a read-only collection of useful prompts we've included to get you started. You can browse, copy, and fill them out, but you cannot edit or delete them.
Customize the look of the app to your liking.
Adjust the text size of the entire app interface without changing the window size.
A: Your privacy is our priority. All of your prompts, folders, and categories are stored only on your local Mac in your user's Documents folder. The data never leaves your computer and is never sent to us or any third party. Its security is protected by your Mac's own user account password and security features like FileVault.
A: Currently, PromptCurator stores all data locally on your device. iCloud sync is not supported at this time.
A: PromptCurator offers a 7-day free trial that gives you unlimited access to all features. When the trial period ends, you will need to subscribe to the Pro plan to continue creating and editing prompts. You will always be able to view and fill out your existing prompts, even if your trial has expired.
A: Your subscription is managed securely through the Apple App Store. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Mac's System Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases > Subscriptions.
A: Deleting a prompt is a permanent action and cannot be undone within the app. We always recommend having a backup of your important data.
A: Make sure your variables are wrapped in double curly braces, with no spaces between the braces and the variable name. For example: {{correct_variable}}, not {{ incorrect variable }}.
